São muito engraçadinhos... Já se sabe que gostam de deixar ficar mal os veículos eléctricos. Dá audiências fazer piadas com carros a "ficar pelo caminho".

Espero pela reportagem "oficial" para assistir à palhaçada e ver se tem algum fundo de realismo

É triste...

De facto, gozar com algo que é simplesmente fantástico, com um enorme potencial de desenvolvimento e, sobretudo, deveras viável para determinado tipo de utilização, sobretudo por uma produção destas, só pode significar que o que interessa são as audiências, e fazer comédia é um bom atractivo, mesmo que injustamente e com uma pitada de falsidade...

Enfim...

Ora aqui está um bom argumento para o revenge of the electric car:

Top Gear caught pushing a dead Nissan Leaf


"Undeterred by Tesla's publicity campaign-via-lawsuit over its last experience with electric vehicles, Top Gear has another EV segment in the works for this season, with footage of Jeremy Clarkson and James May pushing a discharged Nissan Leaf in the can.

The show's latest bit was discovered when Clarkson, driving the Leaf, and May in the Peugeot iON version of the Mitsubishi i-MIEV, turned up in Lincoln, in rural central England, and tried to find a charging spot, something that's not easy even in Manhattan. According to The Lincolnite newspaper, the duo ran out of charge while driving around the city's center, and had to recharge by running extension cords through windows at the nearby university while they went for pints.

Some of their filming was captured by students, and already the pro-EV crowd is suspicious that the Leaf and iON will be unfairly rubbished — although it would be far from the sole occasion that a Leaf has unexpectedly given up on a driver. Given that Tesla's charges that Top Gear faked the results of its Roadster test showing it being pushed to a garage, everyone should expect the Top Gear team to handle the situation with its usual diplomacy and aplomb.

Queria ver se ficasse sem combustível num CI, se era tão fácil abastecer como puxar uma extensão de uma casa próxima...

O que me vai dar gozo é, daqui a 2, 3, 4, 5 anos, ver o Leaf na tabela de fiabilidade que o Top Gear faz todos os anos nos primeiros lugares.

Quero ver se depois vão colocar esta foto.

Eu acho mesmo muita graça a isto, e fico feliz por atacarem os VE pela parte da autonomia quando a maioria dos mortais concluir que o seu CI faz 800km com o deposito cheio, mas que só metem 15/20€ para 150km
