Condutores do LEAF fazem em média 60 kms/dia - EUA - Nissan LEAF Drivers Average 37 Miles Per Day
"Nissan LEAF enthusiasts have been dubious about the vehicle’s ability to get them where they need to be on a daily basis. According to Mark Perry, director of product planning and strategy for Nissan North America, Nissan LEAF drivers average a distance of 37 miles on a given day.
Studies show that the average length of a single trip is only seven miles. If one were to go by these figures, the all-electric Nissan LEAF’s current mile range is more than enough for day to day use. Perry says a long range EV is not needed for daily usage.
So where did these findings come from exactly?
These findings were derived from daily use cycles of about 7,500 LEAFs in the United States coupled with data from the Department of Energy’s EV project. The project has consistently delivered data from conventional gasoline powered cars as well. According to that data, about 72 percent of Americans drive less than 40 miles per day and 95 percent drive less than 100 miles per day.
Of course these findings are based on general driving situations. These findings did not state whether or not it took cold weather conditions into consideration. driving in a snow storm or in torrential rain is a different ball game."
