Aumento do preço do Nissan Leaf proximamente.

Parece que daqui a pouco tempo, quem reservar o Nissan Leaf pode vir a ter uma desagradável surpresa, pois pode vir a ter de pagar mais cerca de 2,365.71 EUR (2000 libras) do que agora , devido ao aumento dos custos de produção e das matérias primas além do câmbio do Iene.

"Nissan have confirmed that they are increasing the price of the Leaf in the UK by £2000 or 6.9%.
This is significantly more than the average price increase for their other models. They put this increase down to increased price of raw materials in Japan and the Yen-£ exchange rate.

Nissan UK today said that they have absorbed some of the cost increases themselves but have been forced to make the price increase for the Nissan Leaf more than other models. They also pointed out that the situation will be greatly improved after 2013 when the Sunderland manufacturing plant comes online as the UK will then be better protected against exchange rate fluctuations.

Nissan also confirmed today that only confirmed orders placed prior to 1st March will be at the pre-increase price. Order confirmed on or after 1st March will be at the new price. This will be a significant blow to many people already on the reservations list. They will have just until the end of Monday 28th February to commit to buying by placing an official order with their dealer if they want to get it at the pre-increase price."

Nem para o móvel da pessoa que me contactou, nem para as duas lojas... não respondem.

"Oh dear, Nissan. You’re struggling to fulfil worldwide demand for your first ever production electric vehicle, and then you go and put the price of your revolutionary car up.
At least, that’s what buyers in Europe are faced with from March 1. Even before the first Nissan Leaf has been delivered to a U.K. customer, sources within Nissan confirms that the price of the 2011 Nissan Leaf in the U.K. is days away from a 6.9% price rise.
The already-expensive car starts at a massive $47,060 before an $8,117 purchase rebate is applied, leaving the consumer with a bill of at least $38,943 before any extras are applied.
But after Tuesday next week, those who have yet to reserve a Nissan Leaf online will find their pockets straining under as prices soar to $50,310, or approximately $42,190 after rebates.
Those who have already put down the $1200 deposit required to confirm the order in the U.K. will be sold their car at the pre-increase price, even if they don’t get their car until Q3, 2011.

Before you get worried we should make it clear that these prices are only for European customers. They represent the new MSRP for the 2011 Leaf, not inflated dealer-marked-up prices similar to the ones we’ve heard being asked for the 2011 Chevrolet Volt.
Why the hike in price? Nissan Europe blames the increase in the Leaf’s sticker price on a number of factors: the poor economy, the weak pound sterling, the increase in raw material cost and soaring inflation.
To be fair, the firm is also raising the price of all of its other models in Europe, but none quite as much as the Leaf.

Another blunder on the part of Nissan, or an inevitable hike in price for a vehicle already heavily subsidized by both governments and the company who makes it.
In the end it really doesn’t matter.
While sources within Nissan North America say that there are “no plans to revise the 2011 Leaf Pricing at this time” we should point out that price rises normally occur at the change of model year.
Does this mean a price hike for the 2012 Nissan Leaf? At the moment it’s tough to tell. But if you’re one of the many hundreds waiting for your U.S. spec Leaf you can at least rest easy knowing your Leaf won’t cost you half a 2011 Tesla Roadster."

A ser verdade, e espero que não se confirme, isto só pode ser uma de duas, ou a Nissan quer que o pessoal desista por alguma razão específica, ou como a concorrência ficou só nas possibilidades, eles com a ajuda do aumento do petróleo vão realizar umas mais-laliazitas

Falei através da opção de chat da minha encomenda online à Nissan e foi-me confirmado não existirem alterações aos preços às encomendas efectuadas.

Pois, mas a minha ainda não está confirmada , e por culpa da Nissan, aguardo impacientemente a confirmação de um carro disponível para um teste drive que era para ter acontecido ontem

Segundo os "nuestros hermanos" parece haver más notícias para quem não efectuar a reserva até à próxima Terça-Feira lamento informar



"Desde el inicio de la producción el pasado diciembre Nissan ha admitido que son incapaces de satisfacer la demanda actual por la baja capacidad de la única planta de la que salen los Leaf para el mundo, y todo a pesar del refuerzo en la cadena de montaje con un aumento de horas de trabajo. Ahora a los previsibles retrasos a los que se verá abocado en Europa tendremos que sumar un aumento de precio que sufrirán aquellos que reserven el coche a partir del próximo martes.


Hasta el momento Nissan solamente ha sido capaz de sacar de la planta de Oppama 1.100 unidades del Leaf, de las cuales 981 se han quedado en Japón y el resto han ido a los Estados Unidos. Con 27.000 reservas en firme Nissan espera aumentar la producción hasta las 4.000 unidades y entregar 10.000 unidades antes del próximo 31 de marzo y 17.000 en los próximos cuatro meses lo que ha provocado que el fabricante japonés cierre la lista de espera para poder cubrir la actualmente existente y que puede poner en peligro la llegada a nuestro país prevista para el mes de julio.

Por otro lado está el aumento de precio del Leaf en tierras europeas donde a partir de la próxima semana parece que tendremos que pagar unos 2.300 euros más para llevarnos uno de los coches eléctricos más deseados del momento a casa y que puede ver como la competencia le recorta terreno si no logra aumentar la producción urgentemente."
