Dear Joel, my name is Terry and I am the project manager for Repute. These charge points are specifically for the Renault Twizzy's, which will be available free of charge for you or others to use. While waiting for the Twizzy to be delivered or returned, the charge point is locked. This is to make sure the parking space is available. The Twizzy can only be parked in tho space, no other vehicle, even if it is electric. I hope this makes sense.

Fazia sentido se tivesse duas tomadas, uma delas para o twizzy e outra para o público, pelo menos na minha opinião, ou então se tivesse custado meia dúzia de tostões...

It does not make sense that a 16 Amps charging point, described as free and payed by public funds, remains locked with no car whatsoever using it, specially when the portugueses charging structure is absolutly craving for charging points. Actually this is so absurd and schoking that the portugueses Electric Vehicle community is appoaled by the whole situation. You should try to use an electric vehicle in Portugal to feel what it is to pass by a locked charging point, publicized as free, and not being able to use it to charge a bit. Shame on you and your colleagues who, using public funds, do a very poor job promoting the EV agenda.
Do you know what people, real needing people of EV mobility, are saying? They - meaning you - would do a better job not installing any charging point: as it is now this is an insult, a bad taste joke, a bad service.
Hope you understand this reality and it makes sense to you. But if it did the locks would not be there, would they?
